HOW DO I REGISTER MULTIPLE PLAYERS

Create an account at our online registration. During the account creation process, click the 'Add A Child' button. If you have already created an account, login and click the 'Add New Member' button.

DO YOU HONOR SPECIAL REQUESTS (I.E. friends assigned to the same team)

All requests are considered, but not guaranteed. Please make a note of the request in the Special Requests/Comments section during online registration. In the 10U, 12U and 14U Divisions, teams are formed by a draft, so we are typically not able to honor special requests. However, requests will be mentioned during the draft.

WHAT DO I NEED TO PROVIDE

The league supplies basic equipment including bats, balls and catcher’s gear. Download our Equipment Information Flyer for reference. You will need to purchase the following for your player:

* Batting helmet

* Softball glove

* Cleats

* Optional - Bat, Sliding Shorts and Fielder's Mask

WHEN AND WHERE ARE PRACTICES

Practices begin the 1st week of February. Practice days, time and location will be determined by your player's coach (which will be discussed at Team Night in January) and are generally 1-2 days a week for 60-90 minutes depending on age division.

WHEN AND WHERE DO WE PLAY GAMES

Games begin the last Saturday of February and the season game schedule will be provided at practice when they become available. Games are generally played every Saturday and 1 weekday game for some of the upper age divisions. Game locations are generally in the Peninsula area. Visit our Field Locations page for more information.

**NOTE: 6U games are Saturday only.

KEY DATES

Please check the MGSA Calendar for season events. Announcements on the Home page will also be available.

ARE THERE ANY SPECIAL TRAINING AND/OR CLINICS?

MGSA plans for special training clinics for all ages before and during the season. Please check the MGSA Calendar for more details in January.

HOW CAN I HELP OUT

There are many ways!  Each team needs volunteers and your support is the key to ensuring a successful experience for every player. Registration fees do not pay any salaries – we are all volunteers!   Here are positions you may consider:

* Head Coach or Assistant Coach: Primary role is to teach the game of softball to the girls.

* Team Manager/Parent: Administrative responsibility for the team ensuring that non-operational tasks required are supported and that the league communication loop is open to all parents.

Contact MGSA now and show your spirit!

**SPONSORSHIPS/DONATIONS**

Sponsor fees and donations help to offset the expenses of our program not included in registration fees. If you or someone you know would like to sponsor MGSA, please contact our Fundraising Directors.
